Description
An untitled woodblock print from Henmi's sosaku-hanga output. Among the untitled prints in his body of work are likely winter landscapes, mountain views, river scenes, and urban studies of Tokyo — the range of subjects that defined a printmaker-poet who moved between the city's modern streets and the traditional landscapes of the Japanese interior, finding in both the material for sustained graphic meditation.
