Description
Snow falls at dusk over a garden pond spanned by a stone bridge, its surface glowing teal against the deepening blue-violet twilight. Two women in kimono, one in vermillion and indigo, stand beneath a patterned parasol in the foreground near snow-capped rocks and shrubs, while a third figure with a blue umbrella crosses the bridge; heavy snow-laden willow branches drape from the upper edges of the composition, with dark pines silhouetted against the hillside beyond. *Spring Snow, Kyoto Maruyama*, a 1936 woodblock print by Tsuchiya Koitsu.
