Description
A single bearded figure stands facing forward against a deep teal-blue sky, rendered in bold, flattened blocks of gray, black, and dark charcoal with a mottled tan-and-black textured garment across the chest and one arm; a thin belt with a round buckle cinches the waist. The figure raises one four-fingered hand beside its head while the other rests on its stomach, standing on angular gray and white rock-and-snow forms with bare, clawed feet. A small red seal appears in the lower right corner; "Stand on the Snow Gorge," a woodblock print by Umetaro Azechi (year unknown).
