Part of the Collection of Scenic Views of Japan (Eastern Japan edition), this larger-format print shows the twin Futago Islands in Matsushima Bay. Expect $600-$2,500 for lifetime editions. Matsushima, traditionally one of Japan's Three Views, offered Hasui a subject of inherent prestige, and this series represents some of his most ambitious landscape printing.
