Description
Six red camellia blossoms with pale yellow centers cluster among dark green leaves, their branches heavily laden with snow rendered in broad white shapes against a pale blue sky. The composition is tightly cropped and vertical, contrasting the deep black-green foliage with the flat white snow and red flowers. A woodblock print by Shiro Kasamatsu, titled Flowers in Snow (year unknown).
