Description
Two bathers stand partly submerged in a rock-lined outdoor hot spring pool, sheltered beneath a dark wooden roof supported by a heavy post, with a rocky riverbank and pale stones visible behind them under overhanging green foliage. The palette is dominated by cool blue-greens in the water and rocks against the warm flesh tones of the figures, with the water rendered in rippling horizontal strokes reflecting their bodies.
